Run the .exe file with Powershell instead and you will see the error. Just cd to your directory and type ./theforgottenserver-x64.exe

Yes o think that's the problem just use sse2 compilation fix in Google and it. Will show you the thread of this page, also you can run the exe via cmd as the guy above said

If compiling via SSE2 doesn't fix it, another common cause of shutdown can also be database related. Double check your authentication parameters.
