Hello,

so my question today is about printer.

Would you recommend any particular company? Or better - particular model?

Currently I have Canon MG3650S and I am very disappointed, so I want to change.

Regards,

Whatever you do, do not buy any ink printer ever again, buy a laser printer instead, the toner cartridges also last forever

Thanks, that's actually a valuable info.
I'd recommend to go for an Epson EcoTank.

Thanks for your opinion.

I'd recommend this too
Whilst you'll pay a bit more for the printer, you'll save a shit ton in the long run with the ink

I recommend a laser printer too. I purchased a Dell MFP e515dw a 5yrs back and its still going. I must of went through 6 inkjet printers that all sucked before trying a laser printer. For the rare occasion I need color I go to the library and get the first 10 pages printed free and 0.25 cents per color page after that. I got a deal on the dell, but my first choice was a brothers printer its the only printer current employer buys and they have been reliable.

I've got the canon pixma mg5650 and am quite happy
ink is incredibly expensive however 3rd party options can be very good value especially if you aren't printing photographs
i guess though that this is so subjective its probably impossible to find a "good" inkjet printer since theyre just scams basically and just fucking break randomly at random times, if i had the money i would buy a laser printer without hesitation, my friend has one and his ink lasts forever

yeah dont get one of those "All in one" printers either, i had one I think it was HP and it didnt last long at all, just a basic laser printer works good, I got a Canon mf232w, its not too expensive, less than 200$ I think, but im pretty sure it just does black and white but thats all i do is print documents anyways. I am pretty satisfied with it, I push print and it prints, thats all i ask for really.

As someone who used to be tech support for HP; I'd actually recommend them. Anything goes wrong with the printer and its under warrenty; you would call me and I would send you another one free - no questions asked. No cost to you.. also the printers are around 30-40$ for the all in ones; so either call me after it stops working in 8 months (still under warrenty) or just go buy a new one and copy over your Instant Ink plan to it.

By the way, the "Instant Ink" program sends ink cartridges to your door automatically when they get low or are close to expiring. Most importantly, it doesn't cost anywhere close to what cartridges do. Plans are around 5$ a month and you get something like 50 pages, and the previous months unused pages roll over into next month.

Find yourself an affordable HP Deskjet All In One; or if you want to pay the extra for the Officejet series; be my guest, but avoid the 3830 series; every call we would get about those we would just have to send a new one because they have a defect. But then hook her up to the WiFi and you'll probably get a pop up right away notifying you about Instant Ink after you install the program. But either way, here is their website with a list of the plans and available printers that can use the service with.

Link: HP Instant Ink (https://instantink.hpconnected.com/ca/en/l/v2)

Best of luck on your printing adventures!

Also; short version.. say screw buying cartridges all together and just spend the 40$ on a new printer every 3-4 months depending how much you use it. Could even take the old one back in the box, then rinse and repeat until your needs are satisfied.
