Wow! It's really amazing, I see what you did there ;D. Even if it's little or bigger edit of my armor, I must say cool!
I look on armor on top page. Why not to make shoulders bigger? Or additionally you can expand size to fill full 32x32. Try to increase contrast making right side darker. Imo every work looks better If there isn't dark lines/pixels inside.

edit? i used one i found on google as inspiration but ill add that on there xD didn't find who it was. I made it pixel by pixel tho, using the(your) design so idk xd i could vary it alittle more to different it from yours.
