The good OT servers die off because of many reasons. I owned a server (Frozenhell), and looking back, many things led to its downfall. The most notorious reason however, was corruption. Lets go slightly off-topic..[skip the green if you just want the point] Ultimately, my server closed down...

Perhaps your Paypal account is limited? Have you checked it? In the 8 months I've been using Daopay, they've never failed to send a payment on time. Even when I switched to using my bank a month ago (boycotting Gaypal), they sent it exactly when they said they would.

Check your statusTimeout in config.lua and make sure it is a reasonable time (mine is 5 * 60 * 1000) which is 5 minutes.
