AAC: can't create characters

Hey, I'm having a small issue here. I can create accounts on my aac, but no characters...
No errors appear at all, and it just stays loading if you hit the Create button. The account got created in the database... I'm using Modern AAC 1.0. Any ideas?

Table 'closedbeta.news' doesn't exist

SELECT `id`, `title`, `body`, `time` FROM `news` ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT 10

We're also having this problem, any solutions to this?

Download the newer Modern AAc 1.0.1 and look if it works

It's not the aac we think, because it worked on a friends computer, with the same aac :s

I forgot to say that it's working for a friend who's using the same modern AAC as me
