It's not a bad update, it's the tutors abusing their powers.
@Mark @Hani Please tell your tutors to stop abusing the mute button on advertising, it's meant to be an advertising channel not a you can't talk here since you are muted channel.

The rules for advertising are the following:

Advertising:
The advertising chat may be used for three things:

• Advertising a trade of ingame items
• Advertising that you are selling or buying a house for ingame gold/items
• Advertising quest services

Intentionally using the advertising channel for other purposes may result in a banishment.

As long as you follow them I see no reason why you would be muted.

World chat should not be used for advertising but rather for talking to other players - spamming the same thing over and over in that channel will most likely get you muted.

The punishment can be ban (even deletion if you are account trading), but tutors can only mute. However they can report players to us if a more severe punishment is needed.

While I disagree with the updates being bad, I think most if not all of them are positive ones for the server, I do feel that the rules of the different channels should be brought to discussion.

First of all according to the rules it is not allowed to advertise for your guild in advertising channel, or find groups for normal hunts.
Second the world/english chat channel rules don't say anything against advertising. Or if they mean that "chat" excludes advertising, then advertising in a more "conversational" manner would be allowed?

Im muting guys which are spamming with offers like :

Selling CC for IRL Cash.
Selling character/accounts.
Spamming with their cassino.

All of these offers were illegal before we had permission to mute on Advertising.
