Can't get RME to open tfs 1.2 otbm

Ok, so I've been trying for hours to no avail.


I've got a freshly compiled tfs 1.2 from: GitHub - otland/forgottenserver: A free and open-source MMORPG server emulator written in C++

The latest RME for 10.98


When I try to open the map with RME it keeps trying to load a spr/dat from 8.20-8.31?!


I am so confused. lol

I managed to create a new map and get it to load, but it still doesn't explain why RME won't open the default TFS map?

It refuses to open it and asks for the older dat/spr files? lol


It IS 10.98, right?

have you tried moving your items otb to the RME folder? or tried a different tfs 1.2 from the github?

server protocol != map version
it was likely mapped and saved with an older client version but you can still load older maps on newer protocols
