I would like to have some help with creating a companion system!
My idea is that once you complete a certain quest you are able to hire a companion that will help you around.
• You should be able to interact with him with a modal window system. (increase his skills, add items etc.).
• He should be able to level up, to a max level of 25 or so.
• He should get points for each level he gets, points you can spend on his strength or health.
• He should be able to carry up to 20 items, depending on his level (level 1: 5 items, level 10: 10 items etc.).
• You should be able to pick either a warrior, archer or a mage.
- - * Warrior: Close combat, can block and cast very few attack spells.
- - * Archer: Distance combat, can cast a few attack spells.
- - * Mage: Distance combat, can cast some attack spells and support spells (healing you for example).
I know that it's a lot to ask for but if anyone has any ideas on how to start at least, it would be great!
