I'm going to buy a dedicated server with 3GB ram and 1000 GB Bandwidth/month.

How many players will be able to hold without lag?

u should add more info like cpu disk and operating system.Btw i don't recommending u to buy server with bandwich set because of ddos attacks they can earn ur bandwich hmmm.. in 3 hours... with ur 100 mb/s download try ovh.com or kimsufi.com

Procesator: Intel Core2Duo 2x 2.33+ GHz

Ram: 2 GB DDR2


Conection:
OVH to Internet: 100 Mbps
Internet to OVH: 100 Mbps

Trafic: unlimited

My friend ( LaronaOTS - Latest News ) host RL map server on superplan_best_of, use Linux Debian, after start it use 1.8GB ram and then ~10MB more/hour (restart every 24 hours). Save with 40 online take ~4 seconds, server load 20-25 seconds, clean take ~2 minutes (better shutdown server and start again.. 30 seconds). When 50 players online:
RAM - 2GB
CPU - 1-4%

and has small lags with 150 online (2x1.6GHz (atom) - 150 online, 2x2.66GHz (Intel core2 duo) - 200-400? online)
