How to get an no-ip address

First Step: Go to No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP


Second Step: On the right hand of the screen you should see a box says User Login. Under where it says password click on Create Account.




Third Step:Now you should see a screen looks like this full out all your infomation.



Fourth Step: Confirm your e-mail address. To activate your account.

fith step:After you activate your account, you should get a page looks like this




sixth step: Log in to your account after logging in you should see a page like this. now at the top left hand corner you should see Hosts/Redirects.




seventh Step: click on Hosts/Redirects


eighth Step: now you should get a page look like this, now fill in all the infomation after you fill in all your infomation at the bottom click on Create Host.



there you have it now you have an no-ip address

In your config, are you suppose to put your actual IP, or the no-ip that you just created?

and are you suppose to have the server up first before you check your no-ip address?
