With what do you login that gives the wrong temple position?
Change the temple position of players or the account manager in the database (phpmyadmin) in the table players.
For new players that are created with the account manager change the positions at the top of config.lua or if you use a website change town id in that config.
About the crash, which server do you use? Do you also have this problem with other servers? Is it possible your computer can't handle running this server because of the size of the map (do you use a real tibia map or an other big map)?
