Hi guys
I tried to open my RealMap here in Ubuntu, and it uses 99% of pc and freezes everything!
Take a whole life to open server tho!
(obs: in windows it open in seconds, max in a minute, and uses nothing of ram!)

THen i tried with data of trunk 0.4_dev
The map is only 3mb.
It uses 600~700mb of ram!! omg

Have a command to fix it, or what?
please help me, in windows everything is ok !!

'im using version 64bits cuz i have 4gb ram ddr3, it can be the problem? should I use 32bits?'
i made everything of Stian's tutorial to compile my serv, etc

Edit the items.otb and items.xml and remove everything you don't use?

TFS is not build to save memory.
whot?

**topic check command "top" in console and see how many ram tfs process takes because that what you showed is printing overall memory usage ...
64bit system takes 2x more memory than 32-bit so if map took 2 GB on 32 bit it will take 4 GB on 64-bit.

on command 'top', the tfs normally is showing that uses 8.7~9 of memory.
i'll not even try the realmap cuz it freeze the computer when its loading oO
in windows dont freeze, it load in seconds
so bro,
you think its better i download Ubuntu 10.10 desktop 32BITS instead of 64?
ty!
it will solve my probelm with my rlmap freezing at load and using all ram?
