if the server is just/next a internet backbone you gonna be very good at hacking for getting that attack.

Even real tibia when got attacked by ddos attacks gets fucked. With 200-300 dollars you can make real tibia crash I saw a guy doing it with less than 200 euros the thing is company's like tibia and wow got the better protections that exist some of them you can't find in market yet and still they got attacked by ddos attacks all the time, you can go to police station and explain your situation since ddos attacks are against the law they can trace the address using the ip, the problem is this guys most of the times use virtual servers and that makes the worker harder but just try it at police you got nothing to lose.
