Those graphics are so good, but I can't help but hate that slight / smooth look so much :/
I meant that those tiles/stones are looking like after renovation that had place 2 weeks ago. Everything looks so "new" and "undamaged". At first, you think that those "cities" (or whatever it is underground) are there for hundreds of years, but then you think "hell no, that's brand new building", because how "fresh" everything looks.
Just like if each day there is charwoman going and cleaning all the things.
But - just to make it clear - no haterino. I like those graphics separately, I just don't like a composition of it (mapping, mostly).
Also, if I can ask; when do you decide to make hard/black outline of the sprites, and when you decide to leave outline in different color?
Thank you for answer
Do you usually paint it in 32x32 or higher and downscale?
Although the choice of some textures is invalid (like intersection of the tree), I generally like how creative you are and able to design some interesting atmospheres, especially the 4th photo with the bridge which is really good. It's also worth noting that the sprites get bigger and bigger and the quality should match the size more. But I understand that doing such a big tree pixel-by-pixel could take too much time. Waiting for the next updates
Well, Saphron, don't take it that personal, you post it here to hear some feedback, and you get that feedback.Well we all have different ideas what is and what isnt artistically good, and to be fair, I didnt expected to hear anything positive from you at all, you are always ultra negative about my works

I love your work, at least most of it and I'm pretty sure you're one of the best spriters in OT community.
But those exact sprites presented do not fit each other, in my opinion. Just objectively look at this:

I do understand, that's because of how much it would take to make it "manually", but we're pointing flaws of this resolution.
Don't hide behind this "your opinion doesn't matter to me, Leshrot" wall, because we're not here to criticize you. We're just throwing what's on our mind (though this is the purpose of this topic).
I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people who are into this. But I'm not.
I'm just an observer. I'm in no-way spriter or any other specialist.

The style must be consistent at all times.
I definitely agree with you, I never said the feedback is incorrect, in fact I stated why some objects look off and I do agree that making them by hand would take shitload of time. I just refered to that one person which always puts negative comments all around my thread always
Ready made textures, you are making me laugh, tell it to all 3d artists which produce their own textures with images and then rework them and work hard to acheive their goals. You clearly are too closed minded so I wont continue this conversation any further.
