Hey, the thing I gave you is a link to a topic with the same problem. Everything is explained there, but the solution he gave did not work for me.

I compiled the TFS 0.4 Sources. I tried many versions and many compilers. I get same error every time.

does this happen with 0.3.6 too?
what OS are you using?
are you missing/have an wrong version of libeay32.dll?
what hermes said is weird because TFS doesn't use .NET framework

install windoze security updates (especially Visual C++ redistributables), disable antivirus/firewall (comodo firewall can conflict with something if configured incorrectly)

I use the 0.3.6 at the moment and it works fine. It is Win 7 x64 that I am using and the libeay32.dll is in the folder with the TFS and in my system files.
I will try to install that Windoze. I'll let you know if it helped.

windoze is another (bad) name for windows, i was referring to microsoft's important security updates for windows

Yeah I realized that after a while. I have them installed/updated now, but I still get the same problem. I will try and compile it once more...

I have also installed some updates to system and then compiled the tfs, but it still does not work for me. Same problem.

That problem only occurs with tfs 0.4 because I don't have any problems with 0.3.6 distros...I tried many trunks of 0.4, but unfortunately I get that error with every single one of them. I also tried it on my other PC, which is Windows Vista 32-bit, but same problem.

Any ideas?
