Cyntara 7 - Revision 1 is the result of six months of feedback and work on our release of Cyntara's seventh installment

Cyntara 7's original release was a rough copy of what Cyntara was meant to be. While Revision 1 doesn't perfect every aspect of the server, we're proud to say that we feel that we have done away with a lot of what players didn't like, and replaced it with more fun alternatives.


WHAT HAS CHANGED?

• Cyntara has a new home. @Luffy was generous enough to donate his time and immense mapping skills to provide Cyntara with a full blown city. This is the first time in over four-and-a-half years that Cyntara has had a central city. The city is massive and breathtaking.
  • This map is very similar in design to an Evo map. If you know how to navigate through the Evo city, you will know your way around when you login!
  • Pictures are on my second post!
• Noobie Island has been removed. No more pointless grinding to reach a level that's able to actually participate in 90% of the server. When players login they will automatically start at level 80 and be fully prepared for a line of solo and group quests. A few of these quests are as follows.
  
  • The Mage House (Beginning Quest): This quest-line takes about a half an hour and sets you up with a character that will be around level 130 with a good amount of startup money.
  • The Warzones: Similar, but not exactly as real tibia, the warzones on Cyntara have a bit of a different feel to them. There's 3 difficulties. The beginning difficulty is right up the alley for a small team of level 125+ characters. This quest can be repeated once per hour. The rewards from the first warzone can be sold to higher levels so they can participate in their own warzones, thus, generating more money for low level players.
• Mounts and Addons are obtainable. With the release of the original Cyntara 7, mounts and addons were not fully available to players. This update changes that! Many taming items are hidden throughout the server as monster drops, or sometimes even full-blown side-quests. Some taming items are obtained through questing, and some mount creatures spawn randomly (similar to Mightnight Panther and Titanica.) Some taming items and mount creatures can be rented from an NPC, and others you'll stumble into purely by accident!
• Money is no problem no 'mo. We realized that one of the biggest headaches with Cyntara 7 was that money was not easy to obtain. And those that "paid" for crystal coins were at a severe advantage. There's a lot of ways that this has been amended.
  • Rune/potion prices have been reduced
  • Monster health has been halved on nearly every monster (this makes tasks go twice as fast, make monsters cost half the supplies to kill, and drop more loot overall)
  • Quests now provide players with adequate cash rewards
  • Every single monster's loot has been adjusted to drop more gold and creature products

Cyntara was meant to be a fun, custom, war server. Not a grind-all-day server!

• Custom/Daily Events have been re-opened! We have finally retested and adjusted our automatic events and they will be running from today on! These events provide a unique way of obtaining event tokens which can be traded to certain NPCs for rewards, cash, or custom services. They can also fetch a pretty penny with higher levels!

I'm not really a fan of fun-servers, but this one is quite different. It's so easy to start and get hooked to this server.
Not to mention the community. It is a suprisingly kind and sweet community.

Pro tip: If you want loads of items for free, just make a big ass city. It's really all you need to do! 100% efficient!

This update is fantastic! I know some people weren't very satisfied with the start of V7, but @Red really put in a lot of time and effort into this update(I saw it myself)& I really think Cyntara deserves recognition. If you played v7 and weren't satisfied, play again, it really is a lot different & much more enjoyable. Lass and I will be hosting an event with many prizes to be earned, and of course, to have LOTS of FUN! I hope you all can make it to have a great time.

Of course, I suggest you to level up your characters if you haven't already done so! Their will most likely be an event or two where obtaining more levels is recommended.

Find Me Event:

Do you think you know how to find people really well? The Find Person Spell ("exiva '[Character Name]'") is a one of a kind spell! You will most definitely be using that spell in this event. The objective will be to find my character FIRST out of all the players participating. I can be anywhere on Cyntara! I may be somewhere dark, somewhere mysterious, or even somewhere common like the gambling casino in Cyntara! Begin to get familiar with the map of Cyntara, and you will be definitely excel in this event. Points will be given to the first player who has found the character I am on.

Rewards:

All the points will be accumulated and the top three players will receive a reward.

Cyntara Knowledge Event:

Are you observant? Do you think you know everything about Cyntara? If you do, you are in luck! This Event will include many specific details and questions about Cyntara Version 7! If you are not so confident, it's time to explore the lands of Cyntara, and pay attention to small details.

Example of something from this event:

Ever find a sleeping mammoth? Now is the time to show us you know where the sleeping mammoth resides. First to find this mammoth earns X amount of points. [Points to be determined]

There will be three rewards given out.

Items items, and MORE Items Event.

Do you have a lot of items? Like to obtain rare items? Because I sure do! This event will consist of players telling me what item I am talking about. This event will consist of hints that will allow you to guess what item I am talking about. More and more hints will come out every minute, if players struggle to guess the item. Hints include the capacity, where I can loot or obtain the items from monsters or quests, what vocation can only use the item, and more information on the item.

Example for this event:

Player who tells me what item I'm talking about receives X amount of points! [Points to be determined]

Hint #1: This item is very sparkly! Sparkles sparkles sparkles!
Hint #2: Wow, out of the four sparkly colours, this one is surely my favourite!
Hint #3: I can obtain this item from a monster that has a massive energy wave.
Hint #4: This item is very tiny, very tiny indeed. Its capacity is less than 1.0 oz.
Hint #5: Yes, this monster also paralyzes. It also has four letters.
Hint #6: That monster is indeed a wisp.
Hint #7: I can collect more than one of these items, and collect up to 100 of them!
Hint #8: This is the last hint. This item is a very small red gem, but it sure is sparkly!
-If players cannot tell me what item it is after a minute or two after the last hint, we will proceed to the next item-

Scavenger Event:

Going through your depot or house may be frustrating with all the junk items you've left inside it. But a rather rare or shiny item may suddenly appear as you search your possessions. Oh the satisfaction when you find a valuable item you had no clue you possessed.

In this event you will be locked in a room with many crates and boxes filled with junk. Be a scavenger and go through all these chests! You will most definitely find junk items, but perhaps you will find a valuable item you can boast about on Cyntara.

Think you have all the time in the world to go through everything? Here is the catch! You only have 1-2 minutes (time to be decided at the event) to search and satisfy your greed.

Rewards:

Whatever you find is yours!

Identify that Item Event:

If you are a quick typer, you're in luck! But there is a catch... you must know how items look like and be a good speller! There will be an item with a small gem on top. The first person who types the correct item with correct spelling will get X points. There will be 3 rounds in this event. The first round will be 1 point each, the second round will be 2 points each, while the third round will be 4 points each.

In addition, there will be a bonus round with a prize on its own. More details will follow.
