What version for a Custom server?

If you are one of those who want to play a custom server, what version are you looking for?

Given up on the rl map already? ;o

I voted 860 but I prefer the latest one(mounts) if you remove the cooldown.

But what I look for in an ot is how the map is and stability, most ots use scripts from the forum that rarely are good.
But get a good programmer and mapper and ill atleast try it out.

anything that is NOT 8.6, preferably the latest client to enjoy new systems, monsters, sprites, features etc

RL Map server gave me a lot of experience on hosting, but my final goal is to make my custom.
