The title basically explains itself.

[blink]This is an example.[/blink] - Supposed to flash. ^_^

What if there was a limit of how many times it flashed every time you visited/refreshed the page.
For example, you refresh the page it will flash five times only then stop. (Not fast).

I think it's a good idea. It won't be annoying, it's just a way to redirect a persons attention.

Regards,
JDB.

It would serve no purpose other than to be annoying. I can see you obviously want it to advertise that you're selling something, but I'm not in any hurry to see this get added

I laughed when I read this, that is a great use for it.
That wasn't the purpose of this idea though. I was making sub menu's on my Gesior AAC and thought, "Why not on otland?"

Supported it would be great!! haha
I gotta post a tutorial to make nice signatures xD!

Very very bad idea, will get so fucking annoying that I'll prolly never visit the forum anymore when a lot of people will use it.

This is not going to be added. Not only because blink is the second most annoying tag a website can use (marquee being the most annoying), but also because it's not a W3C standard. Most webbrowsers don't even support it. I know that it can be implemented properly through JavaScript (and that's how it's meant to be implemented, not with <blink> tags), it still doesn't change the fact that it's annoying. If you really want to have blinking text, you will have to create it using an animated image.
