Ive red in alot of meditation books written by wise people: the past and the future both are ilutions, what matters is now.
Now i know why, from a philosophycal point of view..

We are living in this universe. Everything in this universe is made out of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed, We experience time as a cronological way to measure events or changes in matter. Now imagine all the energy in the world as a sphere... The sphere does not change, because the energy only transforms into another type of energy.
So.. From a subjective point of view: time exists (i can see things change subjectively)
But.. From an objective point of view: nothing has changed (there's no time, because the whole is only transforming, The amount of energy does not change, theres no void; void in space is point 0 energy)
How can there be time if everything transforms subjectivly but nothing transforms objectivly. Future is an illution and past is another.
Nothing has evolved.

Ps: i like fish

Given that time "exists", you will be able to travel in (witch is a important point in the m-theory), but it should technicly not be possible to travel in time in the third dimension. Time don't exists for us. So whats matters are "here and now". If you got the direction, speed and position of all particles in the universe then you can calculate everything that will happend for the rest of time, unless there is a illogical thing that happends (like God should intervean, and by that prove his existance).
