There I sleep
I installed windows XP on one of my server machines, and now the network wont work.

There's no "local area connection" available..
I'm pretty sure I need the drivers for the network card to get it to work...

So does anyone know where I find those drivers?
(Don't tell me to google it, I googled for 2 hours and got nothing but 3000 different kinds of viruses in fake softwares)

no, cable,

It's the ethernet card that doesn't have "drivers" for win xp, of what I can understand.

What I remember Win xp should show a icon in networks connections with "local area connection", which this doesn't, it only shows the name of my network card.

Anything weird in Device Manager? Any exclamation points?

They look like this, btw:

Doesn't show there, there's only one item showing there. 1394 Net adapter or something.

@Chojrak, who said I was going to use it for hosting?
When I ask a question I want an answer, not some side-off feedback or opinions, I just want the answer I seek and nothing else.
