If I can't find any challenging/interesting script requests that I have time to do now, I simply lurk instead.
 
Some people have a real-life they rather take care of first (issues, work, school etc). Also there're members that only post for advertising/downloading and there are people only watching the forums and do not post so much.
 
School, parties, work, dates, sex, who has time for forums these days? Summer = Over, though, I only get caught in the work filter, but i work at home, so it's all good :o
