Some of you migth have been playing dota, league of legends or heroes of newerth.
Atleast i have been playing them all. (and i must say its a fun type of game)
So i want to bring this idea to the community, and hopefully i will get some intrested ppl.
I have already come up whit some ideas how the system will work, i will explain it.
How will this game system work?
My idea how to get it work, is that you create an account on a website like any other ot.
then you log on to the server as a lvl 1 non vocation and start in the "lobby" just an simple area where you can chat whit other players. there will also be "join rooms" (it will be plenty of them). where a maximum of 10 players can enter then you step on special sqm (something like anni in tibia) behind the sqm's there will be a switch for every player this is the same as "im rdy/im not rdy" when all the switches are pulled all players will be teleported in to a room full of teleports or something like that (havent come up whit a good system yet) all the teleports will repesent a hero. when a player choose the hero he want to play, his lvl 1 non voc will turn in to a lvl 1 of the hero he did pick. And the game is on. as fast as the main tower of any of the team is dead/defeated the game ends and everyone will get teleported back to the lobby and set to lvl 1 non vocation.
Wont it be any ranking system?
I havent thought of a good ranking system yet, but the level as non vocation could be some kind of ranking level each time you win a game you get X exp then you rise higher and higher. More to come....
Open Tibia engine isnt build for that kind of game.
I do know its not build for this kind of game, but i have seen lots of ppl that are rly skilled programmers so if the community does help eachother this server/game/mod will exist.
im sorry to say im not a big help on the c++ front im more in to lua and more easier tasks so i do need help from a team.
How will the map look like?
The map will look like the orginal dota layout (the map is already in development)
and ofc it will be copied a few times in the same .otbm to make the server have more than 10 players active.
Things that im "Mummrik" are aware of
The creeps running from X to Y and do this and that, migth be the biggest issue.
Im not even sure if its possible to make a modification that makes the creeps do so, if not then this project will fail on that.
point two is that some spells can be hard to aim e.g. if you have an pointed aoe spell it can be hard to shot it from a diagonal spot, anyway the firewall spell might have some codes that makes this possible.
This is my introduction of "Tibia - Heroes". I do want to hear you opinion, and if you have any better ideas how to make it better.
