Community Manager

You have your own unique OTS? Is there playing on it a lot of people, but you don't have time to deal with all the players individually? Maybe you just prefer to just fix the mistakes in the game, but about the rest has to decide the case? Or simply - you have no idea for new events, players annoy you, you need a respite?

If any of these questions is yes , it's a sign that you should read my post to the end :)! If you haven't answered any question "yes" it's also a sign to read my post to the end, you may change your mind!

Well, I want to become a Community Manager, maybe at your OTS! Okay, okay - I'll stop a little bit, because you may not have the foggiest idea who's the Community Manager, and the abbreviation CM associate you only with the employee of CipSoft.

Community Manager - difficult to give an encyclopedic definition of CM. This is a person who works every day with players. He's listening to their opinions on all kinds of subjects, carry out questionnaires, helps. CM is also organizing competitions and events, oversee the course of these events, writing news and gives Administrator a lot of ideas that would contribute to the development of OTS.
In short, the CM is someone like animator hotel, which is to provide guests with fun. If the guests like it, they will return!

Why me - the person that you see for the first time in your life (actually, only my nickname) - would be Community Manager on your OTS?

1. I like to work in groups with other people who also inspire and motivate me to continue working;
2. I'm a competent and undertake any task that is entrusted to me;
3. I have dozens of ideas, through which the server will become an even more enjoyable for the players;
4. Personally, I'm also a gamer and I can see on the server is what bothers me, or what I would change. I acknowledge the principle: "From the players, for players;
5. I am a creative and inventive. Every day I try to think up some new facilities for servers;
6. I worked in many Polish projects such as:
- Eternal Kingdoms
- Bottle of Wine
- Necronomicon;
7. In addition to being a Community Manager, I'd be writing quests, locations and descriptions of sites because I was a writer on all other servers, and projects listed above.
8. For your wish I will writing also a news on the homepage.

I expect a few things from the team server:

  • Your server cannot be like "not revamped evo x99999999! da best server i the world!"
  • Respect for me;
  • Mature and competent employees;
  • The character on the server, which would have the prefix "CM", for example "CM Moveric;
  • Commands required to monitor events and easier to communicate with players like the ability to teleport, invisibility, etc.;

Some information about yourself:

My name is Matthew, on the Internet known as the "Moveric. I am 16 years old, born and live in Krakow (Poland). I'm going to first class in high school. I'm sociable and it's easy for me to communicate with others. I'm interested in lots of things to which hardly anyone fills some enthusiasm, including: fantasy (literature, film, card games, board games, army [miniatures] LARP's [Live Action Role-Playing] ), the street magic (yes, yes ... I am " magician "), computer games and hardware (not playing games, and shifting them as soon as possible, but rather reviewing and evaluating them), history (especially ancient [especially the Greek] and medieval). Of these more normal schedule, I can replace football and handball, tennis, volleyball, modeling, film.
I also work at company which's organizing events. We organize various events sponsored throughout Poland, including previously acquired knowledge could transfer the work of the OTS.
I can speak Polish (fluent), English (communicative level) and Italian (basic).

Does it matter he is from Poland? Everyone can speak English if they learn(sort of) it, no matter from where they are!

At topic: Great application... too bad i don't own an OT :p

Most Polish run around "Fri Itenz plx" No it's not a stereotype just the ones I've seen, obviously not this one.

I don't agree with becoming Community Manager straight away.

Perhaps you should apply for a Gamemaster, or tutor, then you earn your way up. Most people will respect you for this.

But I think, that CM is on lower part of that hierarchy ladder : ) But thanks for your advice!

Hmm.. You seem decent. So i'd recommend you to a gamemaster point but you seem qualified for a CM position also.

Moving to a country doesn't make you speak better. It's whether you choose to learn or not.
Anyhow, he seems pretty qualified, I'd say take him in as a GM and give him a test-week to see if he's good enough to become a CM :D
