#1:

(-x4 + 4/3x3 - 5/2 + 3/2) - (x3 + 2x2 + 3/2x - 1)

This should be:

-x4 + 4/3x3 - 5/2 + 3/2 - x3 - 2x2 - 3/2x + 1
Is it ok?

Please note that the numbers after the 'x' are the ^

You need to solve it? or give a better explanation of what do you really need, because what i just see here is that you multiply by the (+1) in the first expression and by (-1) in the second expression, do you need to factor it? or what really do you need?

I just wanna know if what I did there is ok.

ofc not.. (-x4 + 4/3x3 - 5/2 + 3/2) - (x3 + 2x2 + 3/2x - 1)
it should be..
-x4 + 4/3x3 - 5/2 + 3/2 - x3 - 2x2 - 3/2x + 1

EDIT: Oh ye my bad
Kay, solved then, thanks.

You could shorten it to:

-x^4 + 1/3x^3 - 2x^2 - 3/2x

Tired so might be wrong but I think it's right.
