Me and My Friend's Argument (EXP RATES)

Well, me and my friend and having an argument via MSN on witch would be the best stages for a Real-Map server.
So, what do you guys think?

Mine is starting at around 350x ending at 5x
His is starting at 250x ending at 3x
 
stages just sux and made low lvl quests and etc useless... so instead of stages I would use like... 10x and start at lvl 60~70 :)
 
Ain't it more logical to have higher rates on higher levels so these people can level fairly fast too? Or the point is to reach a high level very fast?

1-50 200x
51-100 150x
101-130 100x
131-150 60x
151-170 35x
171-180 15x
181-200 10x
201-220 7x
221-240 4x
241-275 3x
276-300 2x
