Why did my dirt 3 thread get removed?

Otland doesn't allow these kind of "cracks[?]".
 
legal...? well its not like u could get ur account banned or something, worst case scenario is getting it removed from ur steam account if u happend to get a "blacklisted" one. And yes they are legal.

Don't forget that your words can be used against you.

You didn't explain in that thread that it was legal, from what I've read there seems it was an illegal stuff to activate a software or a paid account. We do not allow such things in this forum and that's why it was deleted. You should have clarified it was not illegal.

PS. I didn't delete that thread.

What words :( I just say some mods really are stupid ^^ Before they even care to find out any information they delete the thread and its not the first time when i try to contribute to the community

So AMD had a promotional "Campaign" and in the promotion they offered Dirt 3, but as all Promotions have some certain "Condition" It must have been somewhere along the lines "Buy any(/a particular) AMD product and get Dirt 3 Free from steam."
Now can someone tell me where along those lines does it indicate that the Keys where to be used by anyone indefinitely?

I'm sorry but you have failed, you where "sharing" stolen keys for a software that basically needs to be bought.

Also, here it's the info that you where talking about, so the Mods was not stupid to remove your thread.

@up how come steam support says they do nothing about it if they are stolen keys and thier eula says "Any stolen cd keys activated will get your account suspended"

Whatever ill just never more try contribute anything to Otland :P

They Might be corrupt. Remember that AMD already did their "key Purchase", from there on it's AMD's "Property".
Even still that does not change the fact that it was stolen keys.
 
It's not our duty to protect these keys. I have added appropriate disclaimer and our community can now have what every other game forum has.
The keys have not been stolen, but published by AMD. It is their problem now if it wasn't their intention.

Don't you think that we're interfering with AMD's interests when we let this thread exist? Guess what would happen if someone from AMD finds out that there's a thread on OTLand that has their should-have-been-private material published...we get into trouble! You say it's not our duty to protect their keys, while they were supposed to be private...HELL! It's not our duty to protect any software from reverse engineering (a.k.a cracking) either, yet, we don't allow cracks to be posted. I am deleting this thread since it's a crack-like case. We should get Talaturen's "OK" to restore it first, just in case it's something legit to be posted.

Edit: I am having trouble to realise that a thread is closed, excuse me.

the keys are not private they are public or were atleast on amd.com/dirt3keys.txt~~
 
Well then allow me to point something out:

Piracy or Hacking
This includes using an unauthorized ("hacked") Steam client to access Steam, attempting to register fake CD Keys or attempting to register a CD Key which has been published on the internet.

Since AMD accidentally published 3 Million CD Keys on the internet, well I'm sure you'll understand what could happen if you use them.
