Elysium Online - Open Tibia Server
Objective
The project Elysium Online has the objective of creating a new server with RPG, fun and inovation
We want to bring many innovation in all the areas that composes a open tibia server.
Roleplay
Elysium is a medieval world, where many tales, stories and monsters.
There are three continents at Elysium — Lortherun, Gelida and Nalbina — and some islands, which can be beatiful and mortally dangerous at the same time.
The humans, young race, but prevailing in Elysium, established three kingdoms, which actually inhabit the vast continents of the world. These monarchies are Beltherön, from Lortherun, Deltera, from Nalbina and Falkstold, from Gelida. Each kingdom is ruled by a ambicious monarch, who is always looking from new vassals to serve him in his wars.
But Elysium is inhabited by other races, these more ancient in comparison with the humans.
The Elves are one of the most ancient and wise races. They live far and hidden from the other nations, because of their arrogance and don't usually share their knowledge with other races. Who wants to learn the arcane habilities from the elves, must show loyalty upon them first.
The Dwarves are a miner people that lives in the mountains of Turin, spends their long lives at the search for rare ores. They can look small and weak, but equipped with their heavy armors and splendid maces and battle hammers, they can be very dangerous.
The Dragons, arcane and immortal creatures have the control over the four elements. They can only be killed in battle and there is a legend that tells of the reincarnation of this creatures.
You can find more information from these and other races like the Orcs, the Minotaurs, Goblins, Trolls, Lizards, Cyclops at the libraries in the citys.
Elysium has a big island called Ghondum. This island is very precious to all the monarchies because of the academy that exists there. This one is called Valéndil, and train young warrior that desires to follow a life of danger and adventure. This island has been disputed by the monarchies, but at least they decided to share it. When a new recruit comes to Valéndil, he is submited to Tevarin. With him, the adventurers shall choose their vocation:
The knights are a vocation of big physic power and defense, that is the result of their huge quantity of life health and the use of their strong and heavy armors and shields. They use the most part of close fighting wapons, like swords and axes. They can use maces and hammers, too. But at a limited way, because these wapons are highly used by paladins. They just have a few cure habilities, and no other magics.
The archers, like their name says, focus their attack at distanced attack. They depend on agility and speed, so they use thin, light armors. In other hand, they compensate they low defense with a strong, powerfull atack.Their first weapon are slings. After that, they can use spears, and just with more experience, bows. Their most advanced weapons are shurikens and knives. Thery have good attack spells and good cure habilities.
Paladins are warriors of extreme physical strenght, that besides having an excellent attack and defense, they have a great cure. However, they carry a heavy armor and wapons, so they are slow. They also don't use attack spells. They use maces and hammers.
The mages have a great affection and domain of the nature and wizardry. They learn the basic of controlling the elements in Ghondum. But they have to make missions with the elves and the dragons to use them correctly. They use wands, and defend themselves with spellbooks that helps raising of magic level and magic defense. They use the less powerfull armors, valuing the lightness and the elemental defense.
The barbarians can't submit themselves to kingdoms, but they can work as mercenaries. The barbarians can work as bounty hunters. The barbarians can use distance weapons (crossbows) and short distance weapons too (axes).
The alchemists are wizards that create, use and battle with potions. Like the mages, they have light armors. They use magic liquids to raise they power, but sometimes they can use smalls shields too. They attack using explosive, poisoning or other powerfull bottles. Sometimes they use wands, but they are not specialized in them.

Having the most different and exuberant views, the world of Elysium hides many surprises from the Shadow North of Lortherun from the most freezing point in Gelida.
The staff of mappers from the project looks always to take care of the consistency, rpg, gameplay and details of the map, looking at every stone at the map. A bit of these works you can see here, but if you wanna see everything, check our mapping showoff.

Features
The project Elysium Online intent to bring innovation in all sectors that composes an otserver, so here we show some of the many modifications that will be accessible at the very start of the server:
- Vassalage: When you leave the academy, you can go to the capital cities — they are Mulgor, Al'felnor and Telgrand — and join the kingdom as a vassal of the king. When there is a disagreement between the kingdoms, the vassal's strenght is put in test.
- Heroes and Renegades: Heroes are vassals that obtained prominence in the wars and received the recognition from the king. But there are the traitors from the kingdom. Those are called the renegades. A renegade is someone who killed many friends from his kingdom. This one is easily arrested and attacked at the cities and he can't event trade or participate at the kingdom's events.
- Farming: At the cities you can buy normal houses, or then farms. What? A farm is a land with a small house and a area destinated to plantation of herbs, fruits, vegetables and others. A farm is very good to cultivate items that can be used at the Alchemy system.
- Sound: Our server will have a system that will create sounds effects and theme songs.
- Forge and Upgrade: Now you can forge your own armors and weapons! In the creation or upgrade of something, many factors influence: The quality of the forge used, for example, the dwarves forges are the bests from the game, because of their huge hability in such thing. Some forges, mainly the most simples are free, but others are just available with quests. To upgrade somthing, you must forge the stone of upgrading (there are 3 levels) and use it in a weapon/armor.
- Alchemy: This system consists in the creating of potions with the using of herbs, plants and fruits. Many potions from the game are exclusive from this system, and just the alchemists can make the most powerfull potions.
- Summon Orb: When the monsters dies, they will have a minimal chance of dropping something called orb. This will be of use to the hunters/archers, because of the possibility of calling the monsters back to life. Each monster can survive ten minutes and you use your soul to summon them.
- Theft: Sometimes, in the cities you can be attacked by thiefs that can stole some coins from you!
- Lumberjack: If you have an axe, you can cut down trees to adquire wood. With this wood you can make slings, arrows, bolts and many other things. You will keep losing stamina as you keep chopping down.
- Mutation: The mutation system consists in spells that you can use to transformate yourself in wolves and bears, increasing your health, speed or attack.
- Transportation: In Elysium there will be three new ways of transport: small boats, minecarts and flying carpets. In both of them, you aren't transportated directly to your destination, but you must pass through all the way, sqm by sqm. With these system, you can reach areas that you couldn't go without them, like entering in other continentes manualy.
- Mineration: With this system, you can mine several ores and use them to forge many items or sell.
- Bounty Board:
In the taverns, there will be a screen showing the hunted players from the city. Barbarians can accept to kill targets by a amount
