Difference between Netgear and Linksys router

Before buying Linksys, (Net Gear)

After buying Linksys WAG120N

I never though different router has different results.

This thread is not obviously about the 10kb/s difference but it's about how come different routers can make different results?

This does not prove that routers can change your speedtests result, if you run the test a couple of times you'll notice that it's not always the exactly same result.
