Waking up in a room so unfamiliar, people screaming bloody murder, only thing I could
of was run to the closet, but why not the window? Instincts I guess.. next thing I can
remember 2 large bodies scurry into my darkened room and slammed the wooden entrance
behind them. I could hear the breating like their chested was pressed against my eardrums..
beating faster than the speed of light. Suddenly my door explodes and another body emerges,
that someone is wielding a gigantic knife, and lunged into my parents body, over and over I hear
their unwilling screams fill my empty room. I quickly lunge from the closet and dive head first out
the window and luckily stroke the edge of the lake that dwells in the backyard, scraping up my right
arm very badly and blood spewing from the wound, "Get Him!" the large body shouted.. I quickly swam
to the nearest shore that was available and sprinted as fast as my bare feet would allow me to, running
over the minuscule pebbles and sticks didn't faze me at the time until I stopped, I quickly tossed off the
blouse covered in blood, I banged repentantly on the nearest door, explained my story and they welcomed
me inside, they gave me a shower and a room for the night, not needing the rest I refused but accepted the
shower. I then heard a loud knocking and quickly shut off the water and listen closely, I could make out parts
of pieces of the bodies that were following me.. "Have you seen a little boy anywhere around here"?, the lady
that invited me in replied with no answer, then suddenly said that she hasn't and that they should leave.. They
did so but wandered the surroundings of the building to check if I was anywhere near.. I thought to myself why
they did this and what was their motive. I quickly got out of the shower and the lady whos name I never received
helped me under the floor boards for further protection, but another lass accompanied me, there was a small fire
underneath the floor boards where myself and the lass cassady lye, we spoke for a short time before she started to
giggle and replying to one of the goons that were surrounding the building, just then the goon broke a small hole in
the floor board, his eyes were dark blue as the frozen sky and snatched cassady right out from under the building. I
then took upon myself to crawl back up the from the hole in the floor boards and told the lady what had just happened,
she accompanied me with a younger lad, and we split for the nearby forest.. With the goons chasing us we quickly took
shelter in a bush of tress thinking we would not be found, but the younger lad did not think the same was I was, he spoke
out "They will find us, were not safe", I replied softly "Don't worry they can't climb so we have the advantage", just then one
of the goons spotted us and we took of west to the beach, jumping fences as quick as our arms and legs would allow us to.
We both quickly hopped into the ocean and started to swim until we were both tired of it all.. I quickly awoke from the dream
and sank back into it. While swimming I spoke of nonsense "Do you think that there are any sharks in these water?" he
disagreed.. we than quickly kept on swimming with no sight of the goons. We then arrive to a smaller abandoned village,
and took shelter.

Thanks for reading, it was kind of a trip to experience this :D

Hmm being an ex psychology student i wanna analyze this :).

Freudian pespective: you were dreaming of a sexual experience. Now don't laugh it doesn't mean what you think. The key elements- falling(diving out window) swimming and stabbing represent sexual desires in terms if arousal. Now freud states knives represent male genitals though depending whether you woke up happy/sad or confused alters the conclusion. Happy- you desire the emotional and physical comfort of a significant other i.e intimate partner. Sad- you desire to avoid any emotional contact with anyone anytime soon. Confused, you are repressing a sexual urge due to possible negative consequences.

Now my own interpretation from my knowledge of psychology:
You seek attention from your parents in some form regarding your emotional well being. Some repressed memory perhaps in your childhood? Or maybe you are hiding something that isn't serious from you parents and you feel you want the support emotionally from them to "let out this secret". The stabbing could represent "going behind their back" i.e you did
something they specifically told/advised you not to and you regret it. The being found by the beings may represent that you're scarred this "secret" will come out and negative consequences will follow. And the running may signify trying to run away from it and pretend it never happened. The help from
the woman may represent emotional support or even a sibling/friends support that either knows what this secret is or wont care and will help you regardless. It is someone who you can take unconditional advice from.

All in all, your unconsciousness is telling you to own up to something.

Tho nothing is certain with psychology. It is all just a suggestion

I have alot fo dreams like this, and all of them are different every time, but not all are about someone dieing, every dream is like a movie or story itself :L

Its something like you
naturally only remember REM dreams though as you get older the amount of REM you get decreases. Something like 20% REM for 35+ y/o n like 70% or 60% for ages 7-16 (maybe something to do with the massive learning curve) since rem has been linked as a "filing system" that processes our daily activities and repairs mental/structural damage we do daily.

Also research lucid dreams its an awesome concept & can learn to control you dreams i.e fly, have super powers, do what you want & get a definate answer for most questions you ask

Blez, seems to be a very descriptive dream from the little I read. Could you possibly divide this into paragraphs or something? it's now a real wall of text

Haven't read Blez's post complete because it's literary a wall of text but your analyze is so general and applicable to every teenager, it doesn't say anything really, specially when you have extremely little to base it on. Freud... that guy had a big impact on psychology but you gotta make sure to emphasize he had a lot of crazy theories and ideas about things, pretty sure most psychology introduction courses go through them and him, so it's kinda important to inform people about that so they don't just swallow everything because it comes from a big name :p

Yh but freud took the human mind to its basic propeties. Survival. We learn to get a good job to get money to buy lots of attractive stuff to make us more desirable to achieve better reproductive success. Though this is only innate factors. Obviously environmental factors influence decisions greatly. And individual differences etc etc

Tho with psychology you CANNOT make solid statements. It is always yes and no. It tends to be more appropriate to make a "sit on the fence" depiction. Tho with what blez stated. It seems to point at regret, defiance and emotional unsecurity

then gtfo?

keep writing them down and see if they have a pattern? Always monsters? Always trying to get you? What do they usually do and all of that.

Tbh noting dreams it is best to take key events only. Like the running. Diving. Swimming. Stabbing. Support. Etc
colours, times etc are never normally key unless you wanna lucid dream :) write down everything! Then you will recognise patterns n no ur dreaming = start doing the fuck you want :)

I personally feel it's pretty pointless looking at dreams and what things could mean as there's no dictionary for them, just theories that are extremely general and applicable. You're gonna end up going through everything in your current life situation, in the end you'll most likely find something that "seems to fit" but did the dream really say anything? it triggered you to start asking yourself a bunch of stuff, but did it really say anything? if we all look hard enough, we will see things. There's always things to improve in your life, so it's perhaps good that people get triggered by a weird dream but I'm very skeptic to analyzing them.

When it comes to interpretation in my view it's usually that we already know that something is wrong and what caused it, but we want to try to find another answer that we're more comfortable with or to get someone else to tell us what we already know, to get assurance. We always try to find ways out of doing things we don't like or are uncomfortable with, actually, we're experts at it. Inside if we're honest with ourselves for 10 seconds, we know what the "right thing" to do is though, we simply lack the will or the energy to deal with it.

bro if you readmy first line of my first comment i stated... "i want to analyze it". Never did i state "I MUST DIVULGE INTO THIS AND FIND ITS MEANING!!!!!!!! AMAGAD.

And actually you can find alot out about your self in your dreams. Lucid dreaming is part of that experience.

It's not a reply to you, I would have quoted you then. Btw, you should spend some minutes and analyze why you just reacted like that, oh psychology, so much fun eh? :D

Yeah, I'm sure you can, if you put it down to pieces it offers a variety of questions you can ask yourself and there getting an answer how you feel. Hard to explain where I stand, I see dream analyzing as getting a paper of topics which you could go through and see things in your life that could need attention, in that sense it's good but the analyzing such as: I dreamt about x, it must mean something along y. I don't really believe in.

A lot of fictional stories come from wicked dreams that the writers keep writing down, improving it, and getting ideas for a good story out of it.
