Starter Problem

whenever I open up the OTServ thingy to run my server, I get this and it closes in 2 seconds: . I have my map, and I just want to test it. It's very annoying. Please help!

In the config do you have your map name with the extension .otbm?

Heres an example how ur map should be in your config.lua

	mapName = "Dark Faction.otbm"
	mapAuthor = "Edgar"
	randomizeTiles = true

Nah ,
thats a bug of the old XML Servers,
they do not accept RME Maps

Means:
Get Avesta orrr change your mapeditor to : Simone's 0.4.480

totally outdated but what shall he do xD

Get him to start using SQL.
Then he'll use Avesta or any TFS version.

He doesn't have to set up a MySQL database if he's just testing his map, he can just use SQLite.

Another thing: I just made the map a Simone's file, and I have these open, and I changed the ip to my ip, and it gives me this: .

1: Go start
2. Search after cmd and open^^
3. Write ipconfig
4. take your ip adress and copy it in to the ip changer.

I did. And it doesn't work.
