English 101!

lol? You do realise it is out of choice and not "bad grammar" to use "i" and not "I". It is accepted both ways with not one person saying "Oh, you must capitalise it for the love of god". Dude, this thread is for those who say "can you learn me" and "i make home" opposed to "can you teach me?" or "i go home".

This in no way is an offence to anyone. I wouldn't have spent so much time doing it if it was flaming the community for their spelling and grammar. It was about them using the CORRECT words rather than them rampaging round the forums using the incorrect words. It is a guide. If you do not wish to use it, nor think it is useful; CAN YOU PLEASE FUCK OFF.

And Korrex, elipsis is fine in modern day. When he used "it gets better each grade" It is allowable.

And to everyone. I repeat...

THIS ISN'T ABOUT POOR GRAMMAR OR SPELLING. IT IS ABOUT USING WORDS INCORRECTLY FFS. THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE; EVEN YOU LUFFY AS I QUOTED IN THIS THREAD, THAT USE THE WRONG WORDS IS RIDICULOUS.

you forgot the most annoying error:

YOU'RE and YOUR

sweddy boy is an example of a guy that miss this every time, but I've seen pretty much other people saying this aswell

Yh i know, but my main concern was people that use "learn me" rather than "teach me". These are my prime examples because i have seen it fairly often. I guess it is a bad google translate since it all depends on context within English to justify which word we should use.

Deja Vu

Wasn't there a thread like this posted a year ago or so that ended up in some kind of flame war?

edit:
I'd like to see a tutorial on how to discuss instead, that would be way more useful. I frankly don't care if someone has a bad English as long as they make themselves understood.

edit2:
You might wanna go through your post one more time and eliminate some errors, like capitalizing 'i' where you didn't.

Lol "i" isnt needed for capitalisation. That is preference alone.

And get off tge spelling shit. This is about using correct words only. I do not care for the rest. This is a guide (help for those eho need it). Stop being naive and understand it is probably useful to those none english speakers
