Linux Which oprative system?

I will buy linux dedicate server and wonder which oprative system is best for hosting a server + website to the server.
Also i would love that you post links of good tutorials and ip tables that is already configured.

CentOS 5.5 32 or 64bit

What are you talking about really?

Debian 6 64-bit or Ubuntu 64-bit. They're pretty similar though.

I prefer Debian, and use 64bit if your going over 3GB of ram.
