Complaint banned for 'offensive' statemens

soo,mr don daniello gave me a infraction for 'spamming' in his lordaeron thread in marketplace so i didnt write anything else in that thread,i only wrote on his vms 'idz sie lecz czlowieku -.-' which means go get treatment dude and i want to know,how the hell is that offensive statment?

Tyren, bro, When you judge people with a type of moral, do you do it looking at a human aspect or do you think that everyone is a saint?

Just like how we look a politics, law enforcers, doctors, etc. we all of a sudden think that they are Holy or something, people do things, some are greedy, some are not but may be jealous, so long as these things exist("values") people will show them, enjoy Humanity 101, you have all been educated.

A lamer excuse is difficult to find nowadays. We DO expect highly ranked people to do their job. It's like giving Obama free hands to do shit he wants because and I quote

its hard to have a clear set of rules about how to handle every situation, I mean how do you classify how far an offensive post is? how much trolling/spamming is too much? I act with the mentality "if that was me, what would I want the mods to do?"

I'm not talking about writing down scenarios and what to do, every moderator will have to make their own call for every scenario. I'm talking about staff being relatively on the same page of things, that you all would react almost the same instead of one just laughing at the thing and the other issuing a ban. Actions will differ a little between every moderator and that's fine but when the difference is too big, like one just giving a one pointer and the other banning, there's clearly a problem.

Please use the forum's quote tags next time, makes it a lot easier to read.

@ Scarlet. Sorry dude unfortunately. I can not let you confuse politics and moderator on a forum. Thats a big diffrense and if a politic made a big misstake he will be replaced. Maybe not in poorer counterys but in a average rich countery there the ppl rule, then that guy will be replaced. And a moderator shouldnt be making misstakes. Thats why they should take there time and think about it. Its like saying if i murder someone i can just say ohh sorry i made a misstake and wont get a shit for it, and 1 year later i do it again and say same thing. It doesnt work that way. If you make a misstake it should be dealed directly and not been postponed.

And Scarlet i saw that you said you warn ppl that insult other members etc. I think you should go over to Shadowcores region and start to warn ppl there

that's way too much of a difference i agree and I can't help but agree that this may have been pushed too far, but no, we don't have anything like that, if we are unsure on how to proceed in certain situations we ask, but other then that we use common sense

every moderator does mistakes, and if there really is a mistake, I solve my own messes, I remember when I started I gave some wrong infractions, when the member messaged me, I saw that what I did was wrong and fixed it, I'm not saying I will never make a mistake again, but if I do, I'll fix them

Shadowcores is a board directly related to a server, not related to OTLand, even though I can moderate there, I choose not to

there's a fun thing though, I like to think that most of the times we actually do good jobs moderating the forum and no one says anything about that, but if we do 1 mistake/questionable action, the entire forum falls on us saying we are unfair/bias/not doing our jobs properly...

My point if that if a mod makes a misstake and dont fix it and postpone it for days, Another mod or anything else could take care of it and put this mod to justice. Its like having a God on a ot and spawn items to your friends and all know about even 1 gm and he dont give a fuck about it.

it hasn't even been a day since this happened and we like to hear both sides of an argument before we act on anything, maybe there really is something that Vendelikoo isnt saying to make DD look bad? maybe DD rushed in his actions? we have heard/read the side of Vende, now lets wait for DD to say something in his defense

Well there is ppl that only want to blame mods ofc. Same as there are ppl that blame the police. But dont drag down entire forum cuz some ppl do that. Im not a person that blame ppl without knowing the truth, I just wanted to say that i write up cuz some ppl started to go rage mode

my comment wasnt directed at anyone in particular, it was a simple comment about how ppl react towards mods, ppl rush to bashing mode when there's a problem, but almost never say a "thank you" or a "good job" when a situation is dealt with, now I'm not asking that you say a thank you every time I delete a post, that would be stupid, but the occasional appreciation for what we do here would be nice

• Avoiding the entire forum from going on a flame war because some guy calls Allah/Jesus/God gay fag(no offense intended) or some other random crap
• Keeping the forum as an English forum as it should be so brs, pls and egyptians(again no offense) don't start talking in their own language everywhere on the forum, essentially breaking up the community(if a br posts for support in portuguese, only a pt/br will be able to help him)
• Trying to give a reasonably safe and good environment for a community
• Approving downloads so that users can use them without much concern
• ...and probably more I cant think off the top of my head
