I'll keep it short and sweet. After playing OT's for many years and being a business school graduate myself I have seen many flaws in the ways OT's are ran.

Features
Support in both Brazilian and English.
Cheap VIP items (not available yet but I'm thinking 5 USD one time fee for full set)
First player to reach 170 will receive 50 USD paypal.
When 100 players online, 20 will be randomly selected to receive full VIP.
Dedicated server capable of having 1000 players online without lag.
Many other features you can expect from all OT's.

Upcoming
Map designing contests with real money prizes
One new area a month.
Active forum in both English and Brazilian

We have many ideas and give away's in store. We want this to be a server by the people for the people. We are not in it for money we are in it to be the best war server ever. We will hold many polls and open discussion on what can be improved often. We will have a dedicated GM team that will be online 24h a day.

Sorry but this is the stupidest idea I've seen. People play Tibia to have fun, not to make money. If they wanted money so much they would just get a job. I don't mind the idea of giving players money for achieving something but basing a server around that is just stupid. Unless you're paying them a thousand bucks a week nobody is going to play a boring server full time just to make money. And considering the only "features" you mentioned revolve around making money, the server WILL be boring.

That being said, I want to address a specific point:
"Cheap VIP items (not available yet but I'm thinking 5 USD one time fee for full set)"
This is another stupid idea, for the following reasons:
- If the VIP set is one of the best sets in the game, unless the server is absolutely amazing you'll have few players since players won't want to play in a server where you have to pay money to have a chance against the other players.
- If the VIP set is crappy, nobody will buy it.

As I said previously, the idea of rewarding players with money itself isn't bad, but making a server that revolves around that is just retarded.

That is the hope. I think the problem with most war servers is the end game comes to fast. We will try to find perfect balance between always being able to gain levels but not letting players get very overpowered too fast. Also we have made the VIP items not to overpowered. This means not having them won't make it unplayable for free players. Though I don't plan on implementing them for a few weeks until the server gains some momentum. Though after about 4 hours up time we have 25 or so players online.

Yes this will probably be coming the first of next month. How I'm thinking it will work now is we will take open submissions for the first 2 weeks of the month. We will review them and pick the 3 we think are best. They will then be implemented into the server for a 2 week trial period. Here players will be able to test them out and vote for which they like best. Whatever map gets the most votes will become a permanent map on the server. The prize amount is undecided but will have to do with the donations.

Also if you are playing and it goes down, sorry we are still working out the kinks and tweaking it to be perfect. It shouldn't be down for more than 15 minutes and if it is going to be we will make an announcement in game.

Easy win for me (not implying I have a huge ego) but I doubt your community will be any good at developing maps

I'm sorry you feel that way. Like I said from the beginning I am not in it to make money. My hope is the VIP covers what I put into it. If it doesn't I'm not going to start crying and shitting my pants. I run a very successful business from my house that requires me to be at the computer all day but not really doing much. I am trying to make a war server around the player not the money. Something I think I have yet to see. The contests are more or less to encourage some people to come check it out. I didn't say anywhere I'd turn players into career tibia players. As far as I know no other server does anything like this. So I can't see why someone wouldn't want to play a server with good customer support, Cheap VIP items, and the possibility to make some money. Thanks for the input though.

This is funny because it really proves my point. People play for FUN, not for "good customer support, cheap vip items and the possibility to make money". Nobody gives a crap about that if the server isn't fun. And none of the "features" you mentioned make the server fun, not a single one of them. Tibia isn't a job, it's a game, and that's why people play it. Maybe you should take that into consideration a little more.
 
well.. its a really nice server.. but there are too many wars server with venore etc..

mega-war.com with venore etc..

I mean try something different!
 
I agree, it is similar to these servers at the moment. That is why we will have map designing contests in the future so we have an ever expanding map. Also we are looking into implementing many unique events that would run often! Stay tuned.

In the last week or so we have been working out all the bugs and making sure the host is completely secure. We haven't been able to do much in the way of content but that will change a lot in the next week.
 
I agree with jpghard, just because you pay people doesn't it mean it's the best war server. Your giving out VIP items, you expect people to donate then?

Beside, I believe the server will shutdown unless you reach 200-300 players online. Now I dunno if you pay for you host, but you do pay players and if you dont earn any cash, you'll lose alot and will eventually turn off the server. Or you may be that kind of guy who likes to spent their money for other people's joy.

The super overpowered VIP items have been addressed. The stats have been significantly lowered. The overall cost of vip items will be greatly reduced as well soon. The website is just not reflecting that yet. Also to everyone saying I'll go broke ect ect. I have already made back the host for this month plus the add we have in a little over a week. I'm not in it to make money but it seems that it may happen.
