Mapping Tutorial Team

On the first page you can see that I will make the thread in about 3 weeks. So this will be on 13 november. But if everyone is already done before that date, or some people have a bit delay, it can also be a few days earlier or later.

Then I'll send you a contributition within the time limit or few. And see how the thread will look like for a start (:

I guess you're making the thread and displaying everyones images+explanations in a single post?

Yes, everything will be placed together in groups by type. Starting with most basic.

Limos, just make sure that people won't do double work. Like I already did corners (inner corners) so there's no need for people to do that aswell.

I think the chance that people come with the exact same idea is not big (similar ideas can also be used in different ways), I made outside corners, but who knows people will come up with different ways to use/make them, unless it's really basic, but then I don't expect them to had much work on it. At the end I group everything by type, and things that have been made more times will just be used 1x.
Also, just showing the idea is enough, I can do the explanation if needed.

On the town Luffy made (for the community) there are alot of Yalahar roofs mapped and in really alot of different ways. Meaning we got quite alot roofs already for the tutorial. I think we should make a house tutorial insteed of the yalahar roofs, to have a lot of different walls/roofs/structures etc. to map towns with.

Just an opinion.

A tutorial is not only about showing a few ideas, it's an explanation from the most basic till more advanced designs how to make things. Which parts to use, how to put them together to get certain designs. A house tutorial is fine, but it's a total different tutorial. If people want to use those roofs, but they don't know how they can use them, they only have to look at a yalahar roof tutorial.

Because of the exams of the Dutch members, to date has been moved to 20 november instead of 13 november.

Also, more members are still welcome.

For the people who haven't submit anything yet, you have 5 more days before I start the thread.

Some people didn't completely understand which roofs are the yalahar roofs, so to be sure everyone understands the topic.
Those roofs is where the topic is about (you can also use the flat ones).

Also, it's good to add other things like walls, to make the tutorial more clear. Unless it wouldn't add anything usefull to the tutorial picture.
For example if you only show ideas what kind of walls/things to use between the roofs like this:

Then of course adding walls is not needed.

You can make as many designs as you want, easy and more advanced.
If you are done, you can send a screenshot or a link of the otbm download to me in pm.

I guess a red mountain tutorial is better for 1 person to do.
