Greetings.

Due the vote I believe most of the voters are the new players who we'r just settled down.
Maybe their around Level 100-200 and wasted some time, but still it would be alot funnier if it got resetted.
When I started there was hardly no cash, no eq.
You had to hunt with the axe you got from the start up to atleast 60 before you could get another one.
If I'd start today I wouldn't be suprised if someone just tossed me 50k and a start set, and that's hardly not funny.

Negative;
-Donaters
-Players who spent several hours, days, weeks, month(s) on this server

Positive;
-PG to once be the best on this ot
-You will start from the begining
-Gain alot of new online friends

What to do about the donaters?
-Could make a new VIP island and everyone who donated atleast 10 euroes would get acces there for 7 days.
That is the only solution I could say be fair to other players who did not donate.

VIP ISLAND

-A regular Town with normal NPC's.
-Hydra spawn
-Dragon Lord spawn
-Behemoth spawn
-Demon spawn
-Warlock spawn

Now players will think I'm nuts and this will get alot of advantage for VIP players since they got their "own" spawns, but there are quite many players who did donate so there will be problems getting a spawn over there too.

-Reset the server from scratch
-Make a VIP island for the players who donated or another solution if you have one in mind
-Lower the exp abit so it's abit harder this time
-Loot rate should be at 2x

no reset, NO RESET, I don't care about "VIP" islands, wouldn't be even like real tibia, gimme a break
 
I agree(I don't play anymore tho) but there's 1 thing I don't agree with, the spawns on the island it are nice spawns but how can you kill those monsters at lvl 8? :P
Or u mean you are allowed to hunt there for 7 days at lvl 100± or own choice?
 
I do agree with everything you said Houndish like I said in first post, but donating for some kind of VIP thing? give me a break.
 
I didn't mean DONATE for a VIP ISLAND.
It was a suggestion for the once who donated on SoftCores for more than 10 Euroes that they have 7 days on a VIP Island so they dont go whine.
after those 7 days the "vip island" will be deleted or something

If you donated and they just reset the server you will be mad because then you lost your money.
If they make a solution with letting all the people who donated can come to a VIP Island with advantages for 7 days then you will be much more positive then just having a reset without a VIP island.
After 7 days this VIP Island will disapear and the ot will continue as normal.
 
I'm almost 100, and I voted "Yes".

The server need to start again, there's many people that botted their characters to level 100+ and there's many PKs.

That's the reason why I voted "Yes".

And I agree with Houndish, let's make it fair. Reset the server and just give the opportunity for the people who donated to SoftCores.

And that's all what the donators can receive, Talaturen just said that you can't expect anything in return from a donation, of course the server is thankful, so they give you something back.

But this decision is up to the owners of SoftCores.

I would love a reset of the server, due to reason stated before. To many chars botted up, without any kind of reasonable punishment. Change some rules, strickter punishment for cought botting (not just a pathetic 2 day banishment), and then do a reset. About donations, if you want to give something back to those that chose to donate, fine.. Give them for example points they can use to get 100k gp.. That would probably make most people happy.
 
All those who says "it's fine as it is" it kinda just the new ones who started playing 2-3 days ago and reached 130, ofcourse they think their time is wasted, but you gotta satisfie your oldest clients aswell

You who do compare this with RL Tibia, Cip never cared for the oldest players at all.


But i do agree with you if there would be a reset give them something for donating money.
 
I heard that it will come another server from SoftCores, that Kyoshiro will host till later... But still no server is up yet...

And I don't like you Kyoshiro, but I like the thing your going to do.
