I don't understand why people need 16 gigs of ram...

Editing large HD videos, streaming, debugging games, virtual machines et cetera.

What bullshit? I have been going all out AMD since 2009, and now I am also running my GPUs with crossfireX.
Never any issues with drivers. Its not that hard to download the latest drivers from the website. (This is mandatory, always do this after getting a GPU, regardless of the vendor, Nvidia or ATI).

Also, keep it budget wise.

It is well known that Nvidia drivers are superior to AMD.

What's the average price of an nvidia graphics card? Remember that I have a budget :p

I'm not sure how much the cost is once converted, but the computer I am going to buy in a month or two is this:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k 3,4GHz.
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2GB Superclocked.
RAM: 2x 4 GB Corsair CL9 1600MHz VENGEANCE.
Motherboard: MSI Z77 MPOWER ATX.
PSU: Corsair CX 750M 750W.
Case: Fractal Design Define R4.
HDD: 1 TB WD Caviar Blue 7200RPM.
CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro H60(V2)

And this goes on roughly 8,800 Swedish Crowns, which I don't think is too bad, but as I said I have no idea how much that is in New Zealand currency. But removing the CPU cooling I guess you get the price down some as well.

If you want a 2GB Nvidia, you're looking at about 250~ USD, and if you are looking for a 1GB 650 for example, it is about 150~ USD.

This depends on what kind of graphic cards ur looking at.
For pretty good cards, like the GTX 600 series you're looking between 100 and 200 euros for each card. Those are able to run Battlefield 3 in high settings or max settings, so it would be fine.

Why should I choose Nvidea?
Lifespan. All my Nvidea cards I have been using are actually still working if I want them into my PC.
But since I upgraded my whole PC I just bought a new card which better specs.
Also the drivers from Nvidea are better then the drivers of AMD in my opinion.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, my favorites so far are Ninja's and Znote's suggestion.

For all of those wondering, Znote and I talked on skype instead. Here's his suggestion,

Does anyone know if the above components will support a wireless connection? If not, what do I need?

You could always buy a wireless USB-adapter. :p

You could always buy a wireless USB-adapter. :p
I'm quite far away from the router, however my bedroom has about 4 phone jacks in the wall so there is a potential for a second modem and just use an ethernet cable, if that's possible to have 2 modems/routers.

A wireless card only puts you off 20 - 30 usd I think

Bought a few more parts, buying minor cheaper things for it at the moment since I'm away next week on vacation :)
I still need to decide on a wireless adapter, any ideas? In need of one that will range from 15-25 metres.

If anyone wants to help me contribute to my build they're welcome to donate

Please add your OtLand name to the comment so I can thank you and possibly repay you later ^_^

Badass, mine's running at 4.8Ghz fine with no hickup, however I'm running a hellish cooling system. Your build is similar to mine, however I spent a little bit more money :p 1400$'s an still doing final touch's :D
