Hmm, odd that the most good responds are coming from newly registered users, odd, hmmm really odd.
 
listen to me friend .. you need to work up this map abit more .. just listen to those people's advices and do better than this but till now i think you're an expert .. all you've to do .. is put your leg on the right road and go to play some tibia since you've never played it before .. and about the unwalkable thingie .. just replace it .. and it'd be perfect good luck

BTW the ground in pic 6 an a few more is not walkable
 
its not the detail thats wrong.. its pretty much the base everything is just spammed and too big in my oppinion...

LooooooooL i loved what happened thanks to the Gms for rolling it back LoL i donnu why these people considered me an expert :P .. but maybe i am :P
 
They said you were a Expert Mapper because you mapping for your friends server. And the players in it voted.
 
exactly they want it so bad but i wont give it unless i get 10% of the donationz
 
hey guys i've fixed most of the Problems .. i've made the place around the mountain .. some how not squared .. and the Jungle too .. also the Fishing yard .. i refixed it .. and the Jungle barbarian camp is under reconstruction at the moment ..& the unwalkable grounds are changed to other walkable ones.. is that enough does anyone else have any advices??
 
supershady, if you don't want to listen to Mc-Pedro's replies, why do you respond him? Replying him back saying "I don't want your opinion, it doesn't count" Is exactly the same as saying "Please keep replying negative to me".

Why didn't you just ignore his reply? That way he probably wouldn't take the discuss any further, and there would be no problem.

I can hardly see any potential in you, sorry.
If this was your 'better' work, then I feel indeed sorry.

Want me to point out several things, to approve my own words?
Here goes..

  • The colours you use (diffrent grounds) do not match.
  • The way you use nature is awful, try to make it more realistic and why the hell do you use so many flowers?
  • Use gras tufts more often and fucking randomize grounds. (Grounds still unrondomized are a shame!)
  • Get your map alive, with creative ideas. Your map is just plain to me.
  • Your house looks empty, it's just a big space of nothing. Fill it or make it not as big as you did it.
  • Your waterfall is lame. Search for MMBs Tutorial how to create a good looking waterfall
  • Your roads are just straight, some small curves and straight again. Why should people walk along them? It's a longer way then walking directly to the place. Just make a direct way, that doesn't look to boring.
  • The left gate from your jungle camp looked alright.
  • The nature of the jungle needs a big bunch of improvements as well.
I know I'm harsh, but atleast I speak my own opinion and try to help, unlike other guys around. I could keep going on with pointing out things I dislike, but I don't feel like getting your mood down to the ground so I'll leave it for now. If you knew me, then you'd know that this post was harmless.

It's my opinion, don't even try to accuse me on that.
Else you'll feel my wrath.

:thumbup:heeeeeeey i am too thankful .. i wanted some real advices as yours .. hey i'm truely thankful i'll be fixing all those problems .. and i'll be improving my self .. i wanted to be a mapper .. and a mapper i'll be :D no matter what i know i'm a beginner .. it's my 2nd time mapping .. and what i wish for is to be a better mapper .. without your hints i'd not have known what's wrong with my mapping i'm thankful .!
 
It's nice to see that you accept the criticism in a good way, instead of the fighting way supershady.

I would also recommend you to use grass tufts.
Avoid every squareness in your map, because God didn't made our nature(Earth) squary, doesn't it? ^_^
Add some tricks, there's a thread about mapping tricks that could be useful.
Lower the amount of flowers.
