Quest.. Task.. WAR.. same reason really for other custom's I mean it's not real tibia map soo it's not all about war, it's sometimes about questing & finding hidden quest that give bonuses to your attk,healing,defense, etc.
Or the crafting has some people hooked, you could spend long time trying to craft a perfect legendary item set.
