"We are working to solve this ddos and bot issue! We'll let you guys know once we've found a good solution!"

But guess you need a confirmation every hour.. Else he might do something fun

It's way too little PVP on this server. I basically just went and suicided because I was so bored. let me know if the fragsystem is ever fixed so it aint 9 frags a month not to get rs

I post updates, main reason why I'm not too active on this thread anymore is since 90% of what's posted here is either hate or flame.

If you can't take criticism, productive or non-productive you should look into other things to do.

The server is currently unplayable due to the heavy DDOS attacks taking place every now and then (really frequent).
Perhaps you should speed the "finding a good solution"-part up and just do this, i'm sure the income from premium accounts can cover that area over and over again.

I get the feeling that you are concerned about the money you get from this project and you probably wanna spend as little as possible on the server itself, but you have to do that in order to get it stable and recieve a solid monthly income.

Agreed, you need to update us more often telling us what you are doing to fix the DDOSing. Players quit because you show no dedication atm, just show us what you're actually doing and this'll be fine. I'm shocked so many players are still here, there's hope.

the question on everybodys mind is what exactly are you doing to fix it? as usually this type of shit isn't some technical issue you work on, it's a matter of paying for better/stronger protection

yes, there are some trolls here - but the majority of us are your players (some who are willingly lining your pockets) who are concerned about the servers longevity at this rate, and the only thing you're doing by ducking the questions is raising suspicion as to weather or not you're actually doing anything

We are searching for stronger protection indeed, but there are many options out there. It has to be compatible with our server and the system we run this on. Which indeed is really special and tedious to work with.
I will not give you details once it's done, since that would most likely just help the attackers in future attempts.
Details ain't the important part in my opinion, the only important part is that this OT works well.
