Solved Application Error

I have the dll's from these forums.

I changed the server ip to mine, trying to run a test.
I load the "The Forgotten Server.exe" application the black box opens an immediately an error say

"The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Anyone have the solution?

Which server do you use? Make sure you don't use a 64-bit if your computer only supports 32-bit.
Else, did you already tried to download Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package?

x86 for 32-bit, or x64 for 64-bit.

I am running everything 64bit, didnt know I could use 32-bit. I believe thats what I am trying to run anyways which is why I am getting:

So I found it when I downloaded the source version, but nothings close to the same, its like I am missing a program to run everything....

havent tried updated servers yet. I wanted to run an 8.6. any ideas?

I am using that exact one an I get the error message stated above in beginning post. I've googled it an no answers. Your running a 64 bit system with a 32 bit server? Do you have a link the server you originally downloaded? I am stuck.

I can run a 7.6 just fine. But I want a 8.6 an all the ones i have tried from this forums are failing me due to this.

Whats the difference between source an the link?

With source i cannot open anything

The source you have to compile, with the link for the server it's already compiled.
The source link is just incase you want to make changes in the source.

my answer is 0xc000007b
always mean wrong dll files
that what can I tell you

and I think dlls files already used by the server
if you compiled source try to download the server and take the dlls from it

It works, I downloaded the 9.86 v so the lastest, but now i cant seem to find a 9.86 client to log in.

0.2.15 works for 9.83
try to make it works with 9.86
it can works from 9.80 to 9.86 just change version check in source then compile it
