Solved Server says its online but it isnt

Hi all,

Yesterday I was busy getting my server online, but I ran into some problems.. I turned on the server, it says it is online and so on. I put the server on otservlist.org and it said it was online too, but when I login I see the text like 'welcome .. .. ' and my char list. When I want to login with a char is just keeps loading and then it loads forever until an error comes up. The last error I had was Error 10060.

I port forwarded 5 ports (7171, 7172, 80, 465) and 1 I can't remember. I turned my firewall off too, but it didnt help. I checked if the ports were open too, and they were.. I really dont get it.

Someone knows why this is?

I tried 127.0.0.1 ~ my own ip (whatismyip.com) ~ and nothing filled in.

Do you have your global ip in your config.lua?
Did you already try to use your IPv4 address in your ipchanger?

why you say the ip here?

It is very simple to get someones ip by simply pinging their domain, but that ip is a local ip address anyways so it is harmless information.

I'd recommend you to get a host. Sign up on no-ip.org and create a host. After that you put your host(i.e something.no-ip.org) as you ip in ip-config.

Got the server online now =) Now the only thing left is finding bugs and remap & rewrite some spells .. =p
