Printer leaving open-tibia, if project fails!

Hello everyone,

Well the time has come to either open my project or leaving open-tibia. As some people know, i have my pokemon project which im been working on the several months and start slowly fade away. Because i feel the pressure, that i need atleast one more team mate in my side.

I need someone who can code c++/lua also and together we shall learn from eachother.
And asfar as mapper i accept all, but i need a showcase first.

About the pokemon is project, premium will be cheap so i can cover the cost for dedicate server. None in the team should earn any money, if there is cash over. Then they shall earn some as reward. But there is no promise that you will earn money, since the evil thing about servers is that people just want to make cash. Btw those who are working on the project, should get staff memember.

And no its not job application, it a discussion. Since i want to know, by the people if i should continue work on the project and those who want to join. Just pm me or write here.

If i dont get this server up, then i maybe will release it.

1: Be careful who you chose to help you, there's many assholes out there that would play nice just to get some files from you.
2: Don't release it, please don't.. a nice server should never be available for the community to just download and then put donation scripts on it.

Like I saw master M writing somewhere, everything is bugged except the donation shop.
Sure it would be nice to see more such servers around(even thou I'm not a pokemon fan), but it would seriously hurt my feelings if cash-whores would get their hands on such project.
I don't mind servers putting donations on their servers, but for fuck sake do something to earn it........

So please I'm begging you, don't feed the cash-whores, let them struggle with their bugged rl maps for a few other years

I understand what you mean, but the release thing was a maybe. I may pass it on to someone else then.

I have a 7.4 rl map + antibot client, have 8.6 rl map server, 10.+ rl map server (which is alrdy released) and also pokemon server. If i quit open tibia. i would pass on all these projects or release them to the public.

if you'll release the pokemon server, release it part by part.
The map, clean up all action/unique id's before release it in map section for example.

That will not only make cash-whores cannot get a functional map, but it will teach others about the game how it works, before they host it, as they'll be forced to look into the script to re-add the actions out in the map
But it's up to you

As you said i would release parts, so they can see how i did and learn something from it. I dont think i would release the whole datapack to download and run.
