Vocation and items balance?

Hi all,

i want to discuss with you how to make the best balance between vocations and items? or this balance based on what?

Can you give me some information about vocation and items balance?
 
If you are really concerned about balance, you have to test with accurate numbers.

Make DPS (Damage per Second), CPD (Cost per Damage), and MPS (Mitigation Per Second) and have your server keep track of these stats for each player/spell/etc.

You can also check what the most popular items being used are. (If everyone on your entire server is using a Magic Longsword, then most likely that item is overpowered and/or too easy to get)

Balancing is not easy, and it is never finished. It is something you have to always be working on, so if you are serious about it, make the tools you need to be successful built into your server.

Constant Stat-Tracking of basically everything.

How many of each creature has been killed, how much total exp those creatures has given the server, etc.
We all know most games (Including Cipsoft's tibia) has all these counters going at all times, why shouldn't we? And we would be able to balance and fix our servers more accurately if we had good information...

Maybe i'll make Pull Requests adding this capability to TFS 1.1
