Windows My IP ADRESS is getting pinged. Any solution?

Hello all. My IP adress is getting pinged by some guys. And today they planned to DDOS AMBERA.NET, Is there any possible way to block this? I know that IP ADRESS can be hidden. I tried cyberghost but yea, no one could LOG into my server then. I don't want a dedicated I only want a solution that can FIX MY IP ADRESS. Like hide it or when they try pinging that it takes them to different IP or something. Anyone?
I know that THIS IS A support channel for OTS but this problem might help many of the guys who's trying to HOST. Your help guys would help me alot! Do not just pass this THREAD if you know any, let me know.

I don't understand your message very well. In conclusion, I have a few questions...

Your address is being pinged or www.ambera.net is being pinged If your problem is the Ambera, your dedicated host is being pinged or your Server IP is being pinged. Though, I'm sure your dedicated host is definitely strong enough to survive a ping or pings.


There is a solution, the most reasonable solution would be to call your internet providers and tell them you're being DDosed (Do not use the word ping, they may not recognize it), they will then investigate further and will change your IP within a few minutes. I'm not sure how long your internet provider will take, but from my experiences it takes around 30 minutes.

When your IP is changed and you want to avoid being pinged,
I recommend you to NOT enter any Teamspeak Servers, Ventrilo Servers, empty Servers, Websites given by random people, abandoned Forums and of course, not giving your IP out.

Hope this message helped, if it didn't please re-search further on google.com, if your internet provider can't do anything. Though, they can change your IP easily and wouldn't be a problem, will happen in no matter of time.

Hi. I called them! They couldn't change my IP ADRESS. They said it will change automatically. It haven't changed for a while now. How do I do? If it won't change and if my internet PROVIDER cannot change it how should I do?.. Can I change it manually? I asked them to change to another internet they say it will take 3 months well I don't got that much time..

Either setup a proxy, that will protect your ip from most things, that is what I do. (Make sure its in the same region as you.)
But one other thing you can do - as they won't change your ip, is to tell them you want a new router.
The ip is taken from the "tower" and locked to your router, to save ip counts. So it dosen't matter if you reset, restart etc your router, it will still be the same due to that.
But if you order a new one you will get a new ip and after about a week probbly the "tower" will release that ip due to inactivity and give that router a new one once you hook it up again.

I updated my post. If that's the case, your internet provider is shit... change internet provider as soon as possible or just cancel their service(s) and order a new one.

And proxys will not work... Since his personal IP connects to the proxy, and his personal IP gets pinged and he loses connection to the proxy. Though, the router idea is okay and it will not take a week, what internet provide do you guys use, from what country?

Ive used most of the providers in Sweden when I hosted at home, using a proxy you can delay it, you can in no time remove yourself from the proxy and then "hide" from the person, ex. if he got your proxy ip from skype then remove him, and you have another backup ip.
And I was and is talking about that it's a thing you should use from start, won't help now when they have his real ip.

Guys is it possible to save a DATABASE with the account and players? if so, can someone tell me how because I have to save it!

You can export it to an sql file, then import it like normal.
Depending on how big it is you might have to compress it before you can import it again tho.
