I Need Help with compiling tfs 0.4 rev 3884 with elfs warsystem

Ive heard the 0.4 rev 3884 should be the ultimate server to run on a windows pc.. I would like this with War system (With embelms) and 64bit gui.. Is that possible guys?
I will host a real map on the ot...

Money is not a problem.. Please help me guys searched for hours and i dont really get what i need..

I have the rev. 3884


Those question is not the prioritory but if u cant help me with /\ u maybe can answer this.
Things that confuses me is:

what is a distro
What is a Rev
What is sources?
Will i get any problem with 0.4 rev 3884 with an AAC with shop?

Distro is the distribution, the server (.exe file).
TFS servers have different versions, these versions have different functions and features, revs are reversions or remakes, different versions of a server version.
TFS 0.4 is a server version, but there are alot of different versions of this, people who changed things or added extra features, so not all TFS 0.4 servers are the same.
The source are the files to create your server (.exe file), if you only have the sources or want to make changes there, you have to compile it to create the .exe file.

Website aac makers are created for different versions, so you have to look which one is supporting TFS 0.4.

thanks alot for this, Well lets say i have REV 3884 as i do atm.. do i need tfs 0.4 distro or the sources right now? And could u link me those? :) thanks in advance @Limos


if i understand u correctly i need the sources for tfs 0.4 to use it with dev++ or what ever to make the DISTRO of 0.4 tfs? =)

Just tell me what i have to do to get:
TFS 0.4 <dont got this one
With rev 3884 <- i got this one
with 64bit gui

Gui or console? Gui is more userfriendly but is it beter to run console? =) Cheers

The rev 3884 of TFS 0.4 is TFS 0.4, rev 3884 is just 1 of the (different) versions of TFS 0.4, if you only have the source (.h/.cpp files), you need to compile it to create the .exe file.

Those are the sources, the dev-cpp folder contains the project file you'll know the different between the files in that folder because the project file has the extension dev, when you open the project file it automatically loads all the files and any configurations associated with that project.

As Limos suggested follow the tutorial to compile the sources.

Okey Thank you both alot and especially you @Limos my last question is.. If i want elf guild war system on my server do i need to compile it when i have it or can i compile the server with the soruces i have and later on insert the war system ? =) Cheers! @Breed

And also i forgot... I dont find in the gui how to compile it with GUI :) Or should i just go with console? =) @Limos @Breed

The source parts should already be added to the source when you compile it, but you can make changes to the server any time, just compile it again and replace the .exe file.
You can just use the console indeed, features from the gui can also be done ingame with god commands.

Thank u for relpying HalfAway! Could u help me out! Ivee been searching for 9 constantly.. just a 30min meal..

Im gonna host a rl map 8.6 on windows.. 64 bit I would prefer a gui and war mode is prio 1... When it comes to windows.. alot of people says 3884 is stable on windows.. @HalfAway @dominique120

Yes /war is for initiating a guild war. That means that this server most likely has war mode compiled in. The rev you linked is alot better that 3884 so dont even bother with it.
