Anyone knows why CIP doesn't make one gm controlled world. Appoint ~2 active gms who deal with reports instantly.

Less ppl will bot this way (scared) and more botters will get banned (& faster).


They already made some custom servers (preview, retro, ...), cmon I'm waiting for a gm controlled world.

I know they said they'll "never" appoint gms again, but I don't see why they can't try it on one server...

It's understandable they don't want them on all servers cuz of the premium subscriptions of many botters. Np with that.
 
Because cipsoft has removed them (gms) so why they should put them back to game? Their anti bot system is much better hihi ^^

As I remember they wrote something like" it is old system "

You can always ask them so you will be 100% sure

CMS are still active ingame searching for botters (checking reports)
 
GM's are also still active, from time to time. Not as active as before, but they're back. I ran into one in Amera not too long ago, and he deleted me, so I reported him to CipSoft and was undeleted - still have the emails.

current cipsoft gmbh members still have their gm characters(I saw them sometimes long after volunteer gm removal), but they don't appear that often anymore because there is a report system now. It's more reliable than screenshots and player's words.

GM's have both regular characters and staff characters. I ran into this GM in-game while on his regular character, and he came on his GM and deleted me. It was pure power abuse on his part. It probably happens a lot more than we realize. There were several emails exchanged, but this is the final one:

I don't know, I just feel a strong sense of bullshit emanating from this post.
I know CMs are still active, but GMs? Active? Banning people? There would be videos, it would be known, you don't just keep this kind of shit secret for so long.
 
Adding to the the existing replies, remember CIP antibot system is for show. They ban a number of accounts once a while but they actually let the botting occur. They are currently living out of the botters activity, most of the botters pay premium and a player can have several accounts online. If they banned everyone who bots currently i bet you more than half the population will disappear.

I only wondered why they don't make ONE controlled GM world. There are still 20+ "freebotworlds" which provide enough income for CIP.
 
I doubt they will do that. In the end CIP is a company and their goal is getting money. Adding GMs might cost the money to hire them since the developers are living the life. And creating a world controlled by GM i dont see it it will be underpopulated. The only reason Tibia still has players is because most of them are bots.

there is no GM's in Real tibia anymore. They got removed long time ago. CM's still exist but they dont show themselves. Since they are not allowed to. + GM's Did never ban people. It went to hands of Cipsoft. GM's only reported to cipsoft if they thought there was an action needed against the player.
 
Believe what you will, but there are GM's in Tibia. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't exist. That's like saying there's no air because you can't see it.
 
Botters buy premium accounts. Botters are 50% of their income, if not more. There's no reason for them to make such world.

I love when someone claims to have the perfect solution against botters.
If such a server would be opened then the dumb botters would be banned and the more intelligent ones would just bot while being near their PC.

I'll tell you what happened with my brother playing on Tibia rl:
He went to train his character skills somewhere near Femor hills (slimes) and then he started training. After a few minutes someone came there and started killing his slimes (summoned ones), there was load of them so after a few minutes once the player killed my bother's slimes, he went off somehow, and my brother tried to message him but the player was offline already, he was obviously banned for abusing (I'm pretty much sure that's kinda abusing) and then it came on my brother's mind that there might be GM nearby there, so to check if it actually was there he sent porn link to see the reaction, just after a few seconds he went off too and he couldn't login back, he received some kind of warning/bad conduct, because next day he could login back but the same day when it happened there was a message like "Your acount have xx conduct or w.e, to know more about it logon website." and when he checked the conduct/report there in description where it says for what reason it happened, there was the link which he sent.
So yeah, I believe there are still gamemasters nowadays, but you don't see them which doesn't mean they're not there anymore.
 
They won't add antibot systems because they will lose 50% of whole players that is the truth.
