so. people offer free hosting. beside halfaway I wouldnt even recommend anyone to purchase " free " hosting from ANYONE. By free hosting he has access to your files/has your files. take care with who you trust. just a small reminder
 
I have nothing to hide. All of my works are available on otland so a scammer wouldn't gain much from my files :D

Even paid hosting they have access to your files, even if you host at home, unless you built the operating system & hardware yourself from scratch nothing is truly secure.
 
i GUESS the issue in this forum is that morons just refuse to read what the fuck people type. theres a diffrence with someone OFFERING paid hosting, and someone using the FREE hosting from a random 30 posts guy created 25.02.2015.

and if you have a server that is worth stealing that means you have the skills to develop an ot server. If you have the skills to develop an otserver you can work to pay the first month of a dedicated server.
 
Actually you can't trust anyone. Really.. not even very known high-rep people.

I remember back in 2009, I was moderator on otfans in the download section, approving files and remove virus infected stuffs.
However one day I was going to buy something from Evo (Otfans second admin, very known and trusted) that he offered me for 50 Euro.
I send him the cash and I never got what he promised, he logged off and the next week all hell broke lose.
He was like a best friend on the internet, and wops suddenly he scammed me, and he lost his admin position in the action.

Some of you maybe remember all that.
That's my proof today, don't trust anyone you can't get your hands on irl.

You shouldnt trust no one in real life for hosting or anything in some cases people cant even trust they family
