Does anyone care to play a legitimately custom unique server? Or is this model of OT for the most part extinct?
unline.org - simple rpg server with real tibia spells etc - own map, lots of own creatures etc has been online for 9 years. drawback is that donation items are very expensive and powerful but you can go pvp disabled so it doesnt rly matter imo.
dblots.pl - otserver based on dragonball has been online for 8 years, even if you don't like dragonball it's still an amazing server but can take a quite of bit of time to get into and mainly polish players
necronia.com - super customized rpg server, its in beta though and you need to buy to play
tibianic.com - 7.4 real map but with custom client and brand new mobs etc
deathzot.net - rly customized tp server but basically 99% botting so there's not much to experience
if you want more custom servers you need to remember to support them when they're online in it's current state it's not worth it for people to make a custom server since it takes LOTs of time and they usually dont even get a profit, so it becomes hard for server makers to have the motivation to finish their custom projects
One day I will make it to your list!
whiworld.com - In early beta, Custom monsters, custom items, custom everything what is scriptable. Has been online for 3 months. Huge updates come monthly.
thread name: A legit custom server?Lost all credibility when posted an ad to a discussion thread
Forsaken grounds ehh i just might still have a copy of it lemme lookForsaken Grounds Online was an extremely fun server and I remember having some good times on there. It had pretty much everything I wanted in a server.
Sad to say there isn't any legit custom server that are good these days. All those server mentioned above in the list have huge flaws such as real map, botting server, etc..
As for the main point of the topic, there is a small group of players who still enjoy legit custom servers. I'm not really sure why, but the community took a sudden change into admiring real map and or teleport servers.
I guess that's the reason why we don't see many custom projects, yet alone ones that succeed. The player base isn't huge enough so people don't want to waste so much time on a server that won't get anywhere
near the amount of players a real map server would.
It is, you simply need to advertise your custom project because most of these players check otlands weekly/monthly or they left and his friends let 'em know about each good server.Do you guys think the pool is big enough to have one though?
forsaken and moonlight? very funny story, at the first sight of problem you just close the servers kkkkk
edit:
and molten.
seriously how many servers do you pretend to open this time before quitting again?
Well tbh I liked the server until it got released to the public. Then there were a ton of trashy remake so the server got old. Original versions are always the best.Tired as shit read this total wrong anyways if i find forsaken server files ill message you
@Zasranets
It's hard to say.. but it is possible. Like lording said you just have to advertise it for a long time so lots of players become aware of it.Do you guys think the pool is big enough to have one though?

Pretty sure it was called Terra Silenti haha. But yeah it was a really unique server, sad to see it die out. Kavalor was a pretty talented guy.Not many people played it but i like Terra Silent xD not sure if anyone here would know what ot that was only ever seen a few players on it was a mid/high rate rpg / custom server was unique in its own way i enjoyed it and would play it again haha
I guess that would explain all of the poor quality servers I saw.The released one was not at first released by me or known by me. Was released by the former hoster. The released one was exceptionally buggy and missing most the map and scripts
