Windows Hoster or vps server?

hows work that of looking for a hoster?

and anyone know a free windows vps server?? test at least 1 month or whatever

A hoster is a person who runs a server in his home. A VPS server is a service you pay weekly/montly/anually to run your server by yourself, they are hosting mostly in Datacenters with good internet conection, hardware, etc. Also support people, they can help you solving issues not related to Open Tibia unless you decide to use Don Daniello's Hosting Service, he does provide OTS assistance

Neither. In my opinion you should buy a dedicated server, not a VPS . VPS = Virtual Private Server i.e A dedicated server broken down into smaller machines, which means shared connection, making it unsuitable for heavy uses such as OTs under a ddos attack, so you should consider buying a dedicated server at ovh maybe, or kimsufi.

@narko i want to know if when someone host the server for me i have to send all data files of the server? or just the database server and run with xampp?
and i connect with the db pass etc?

A hoster is able to set up windows remote desktop so you can do all the stuff by yourself if not , you have to send him the data files, website, database.

I would recommend you to find a trusted hoster otherwise your files will be unsafe. Also I don't recommend using XAMPP due exploits issues so I strongly recommend UniServ.

VPS shares the hardware also.

For a small/medium big server it should work just fine.
